We bought a used Rogue from Tim Dahle. There's a pseudo recall on the transmission to the tune of extending the warranty another 5 years and 120k miles. Not all Rogues get this, but ours did and it is really dangerous. We took our vehicle in to see if the extended warranty would cover it. After many hours they said they would and that our car was, and I quote, "Safe to drive as long as you aren't climbing any hills or driving in 90+ degree weather." So Utah in July - it's 90+ degrees EVERY DAY. The parts will not be in for 1-3 weeks... I assumed that since this is not technically safe that we would be offered a loaner vehicle... but nope. Not at all. They want $30/day but that is only for when the car is actually being fixed (1 day repair), that's not for another 1-3 weeks. So we have an unsafe vehicle that Tim Dahle sold and the best they can do is basically live up to the warranty. Nothing more. Way to go, Tim Dahle... I can now drive my Rogue between the hours of 9pm to 9am for the foreseeable future.***EDIT*** Tim Dahle in Murray resolved this issue. I cannot thank them enough for taking my wife and I seriously about this and resolving the issue without making it a long process. I can't wait to shop for a new vehicle when it is time to buy again. Thank you!
